For Christmas in 2007 I received a small home brewing kit from my sister-in-law. I enjoyed brewing my first batch so much I went all out and purchased the necessary equipment to make the standard 5 gallon batch. I'm enjoying learning about the process of making beer and wine - it makes you appreciate the final product!

Since then I've made over 100 gallons of beer! From Honey Stout to German Oktoberfest, my friends and I are still enjoying most of the types of beer I've brewed.

In 2009 Maria jumped in the mix and we started making wine together. We also coined "Regal Vista" as the name of our Ozark dwelling.a

Keep your fingers crossed because I'm trying my luck with Whiskey this year!
